The Little Miss and Mister Blueberry pageant will take place this Friday evening, August 29th starting at 5:30 at the Michigan Street stage in Centennial Park. The boy’s competition is first and the girls begins at 6.
This pageant is open to little boys and girls at least 3 years old but no older than 6 years old on August 29th. All contestants must be a resident of Marshall County.
Children will be interviewed on stage and asked what they want to be when they grow up and if they had three wishes what would they be. Contestants will be judged on their appearance, answers, and personality.
Winners are required to participate in the parade on Monday, September 1st and a car is provided.
Applications can be obtained at the Blueberry Festival office at 233 East Jefferson Street or on the Blueberry Festival website under pageant. Applications must be turned in by the close of business on Wednesday, August 27th. For questions contact Daphne Stapleton at 952-4357.
