10/26/12 A Plymouth city letter carrier on her way to work Thursday morning struck a deer with her motorcycle on US-31.
Emergency responders were dispatched at 6:45 to US 31 near the intersection of 14C road Thursday morning for a personal injury accident.
Lynn Brown was traveling north on US 31 when a deer entered the roadway. Brown was unable to avoid the collision and sustained severe injuries in the crash. She was airlifted from the scene to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
As of Thursday evening she is listed in stable condition in intensive care.
