01/19/12 Marshall County Building Inspector, Chuck Dewitt is hosting a Contractor’s Education Day on Wednesday, January 25th. Seating is limited and the session will be held in room 203 of the County Building. Registration beginnings at 7:30 a.m. with the four hour session ending at noon.
There are a host of items that will be discussed including the county’s requirement for contractor’s registration, required inspections, setback requirement and variances, construction design releases, drainage plan requirements, energy code updates and plumbing, heating and electrical requirements.
NIPSCO and REMC will also discuss their requirements for utility connections.
