Miller’s to Host Tribute to Jeannette MacDonald

Diane Devereaux of Chicago will perform at Miller’s Senior Living Community on Wednesday, June 16 at 2:30 p.m.  Devereaux will present her “Tribute To Jeanette MacDonald”.  Songs made famous by MacDonald and performed by Devereaux will include “Indian Love Call”, “Ah, Sweet mystery of Life”, “Will You Remember”, and “Italian Street Song”.  The varied evening gowns that Devereaux wears throughout her performance are typical of the dress-up style people observed in MacDonald’s bygone days.

 

Devereaux has a degree from DePaul University, Chicago in voice performance and has been impersonating Jeanette MacDonald for over three years.  She has also performed in several Chicago land musicals and she also writes poetry. 

 This concert is free and open to the public.  Miller’s Senior Living is located at 625 West Oakhill Avenue in Plymouth.
