Benefit for Webster Kindergarten Student this Saturday

  11/11/13  A benefit for Marcelino “Boo” Arbuckle will be held this Saturday, November 16th at the Memories Hall located at 414 East Jefferson Street in Plymouth from 2:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m.

Marcelino “Boo” Arbuckle is a 5 year old Kindergartener student at Webster Elementary School was diagnosed with Desmoid Fibromatosis which is a rare cancer that affects small children with tumors that are 100% cancer.  He was sent to Riley’s Children’s Hospital for chemo and after 7 weeks of chemo therapy the doctor realized the lump was taking over his air ways and the chemo had to be stopped.  They had found that the chemo had actually been feeding the tumor causing it to grow at a more rapid rate. On October 4th he underwent surgery to have a breathing tube put in place as well as a feeding tube.  Currently he is undergoing radiation in Bloomington.

Friends of Boo will be having live entertainment by Austin Pennington, Groupies Wanted, Joey Garcia and Subtle Falls. There will be food, 50/50 drawings, door prizes and a silent auction.  Cost for this event is $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for kids ages 4-12 years old and kids 3 and under are Free.
