Marshall County Community Foundation Hosts Annual Meeting Thurs, Sept 24

CommunityFoundationLogoNewThe Marshall County Community Foundation Board of Directors and staff will celebrate local philanthropy and opportunities to help great ideas take flight at an annual meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2015. The event will take place at the Marshall County Historical Society Museum, 123 N. Michigan St., Plymouth IN.

The evening begins at 5:30 pm with appetizers and a brief business meeting to follow. The MCCF annual meeting agenda includes an update on the Lilly Endowment GIFT VI 1:1 match program that will put a total of $500,000 to work in our community. This special match is for the MCCF Community Fund, one of the most flexible and responsive of the 325 funds at MCCF in addressing new and emerging community needs. The agenda also includes announcement of 2015 Fall Grant Awards from the MCCF Community Fund.

The public is invited to attend and learn more about the charitable funds at MCCF created by generous individuals, families, businesses and organizations to support causes they care about in Marshall County.
