Master Gardener’s Tips for Landscapes and Gardens

May 3, 2012

05/04/12 The Marshall County Master Gardener Association and Purdue Extension Office are offering a three evening series on improving soils and fertility on Tuesday, May 8th,  managing key plant pests on Tuesday, May 22nd, and on being creative with your landscape on Tuesday May 29th.  This educational series will be held at the Culver-Union Township Public Library, 107 N. Main Street Culver.  It will start at 6:30 pm and end promptly at 8:00 pm.

The goal of this program is to allow Marshall County Master Gardeners and Purdue Extension share horticultural information to help you better manage your soil resources, reduce damage from key plant pests, and be creative in how you develop your landscape.  The goal is to share information with area gardeners and address their specific concerns with gardens and landscapes.

There is no cost to participate in this program.  If you would like to participate in this program, please call the Marshall County Extension office at 935-8545, library 842-3441 or e-mail ryoder@purdue.edu to register.  This will allow appropriate handouts and seating for these sessions.

With spring here early this year, this is an opportunity to pick up a few tips that can improve your landscape or address concerns you currently have with it.  Hope to see you on the 8th!
