Weekend Reports from County Police Department

On Saturday, September 18th at 10:06 a.m. Patrolman Matt Brown with the Marshall County Sheriffs Department responded to 492 Lilac Road in Lakeville after being advised that sometime during the overnight hours of Friday, September 17th to the morning hours of Saturday, September 18th unknown persons went through the victim’s vehicle.  The unnamed victim told the officer that they believe nothing was taken from the vehicle.

On Saturday, September 18th at 10:14 a.m. Sergeant Bruce Carter responded to the 12,000 block of Diamond Court after receiving a theft complaint. Arriving on the scene Officer Carter was told that someone had entered an unlocked vehicle parked at the residence during the overnight hours and stole a Garmin GPS System.

A short time later Saturday morning at 11 a.m. Officer Carter spoke with a resident of the 10,000 block of Park Lane in the Oak Crest Subdivision.   The victim stated that sometime during the overnight hours someone had entered their unlocked vehicle and stole their Garmin Street Pilot C530 GPS System.

On Saturday, September 18th at 12:21 PM Patrolman Matt Brown responded to 19,000 block of Elm Road on a criminal mischief complaint.  Arriving at the location, Officer Brown made contact with the home owner who advised that sometime between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Friday, September 17th an unknown person threw an object at the victim’s mailbox, destroying the mailbox.
