05/23/11 On Friday, May 20th at 6:29 a.m. the Plymouth Police Department received a report regarding a break-in and theft at the Mayflower Tavern at 111 West Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
This burglary occurred after closing on the night of Thursday, May 19th. Detective Sgt. Leo Mangus said evidence at the scene indicated that an unknown subject or subjects broke a window and then entered through this window.
Cash and merchandise was then removed from the business during the overnight hours. Anyone with information regarding this burglary should contact the Plymouth Police Department. 574 936-2126
The Mayflower Tavern had a previous break-in this year on January 16th when someone entered through a window and removed a safe.
