01/25/11 On the morning of Sunday, January 16th at 10:45 a.m. the Plymouth Police Department received a report regarding a break-in and theft at the Mayflower Tavern in Plymouth. The burglary and theft had occurred after closing on the night of January 15th.
Evidence at the scene indicated that unknown subject(s) who had entered the building through a window and removed a safe. The safe contained an undisclosed amount of money and payroll checks from local businesses that had been cashed at the bar.
Detective Sgt. Leo Mangus with the Plymouth Police Department is the investigator for this case. They are asking anyone with information regarding this burglary to contact the Plymouth PD. (936-2126)
