08/07/13 The Marshall County Blueberry Festival is quickly approaching and the Blueberry Festival Office is geared up and ready for the annual MegaPass sales. The MegaPass is an all-you-can-ride pass good for the duration of the festival. The pass allows the holder to ride all the rides in the carnival during operational hours. It is non-transferable and is only valid for the person whose picture appears on the pass.
The MegaPass requires a picture of the pass holder. Pictures are taken at the festival office at the time of purchase or if the pass holder cannot be present you can bring in a head shot photo in one of these sizes; 3×5, 5×7 or 8×10, and a scan of the photo has to be taken and printed on the pass.
MegaPass holders must redeem their pass at the designated ticket booth each day. This booth will have a sign stating “Redeem MegaPass Here.” The attendant will then punch the day on the pass and give the pass holder a wristband. This wristband must be worn and allows the MegaPass holder to ride the rides for that day only. This must be done each day they plan to ride the rides at the festival.
The Marshall County Blueberry Festival Office is currently selling MegaPasses. Passes cost $50.00 if purchased by Saturday August 24th. The price will increase to $55 if purchase between Monday, August 26th through Thursday, August 29th. MegaPasses are not available at the festival.
If you plan to only visit the Blueberry Festival and ride the rides for one day, “A Pay One Price” wristband is also available. They are $15 in advance at the Blueberry office. You can also purchase them at the festival each day but the price is increased.
Both types of passes are now available through the Blueberry Festival Office which is located at 233 East Jefferson Street in Plymouth, in the same building at the Coffee Lodge. The Festival office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and on Saturday August 17th and 24th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
