11/16/12 A two-vehicle crash Monday night about 5:45 resulted in two Culver men being taken to the hospital.
County Police Officer Joe Giordano investigated the crash on State Road 17 just south of Sycamore Road. His report states that 42 year old Michael Woods of Culver was traveling south on St. Rd. 17 when he was struck by a vehicle that traveled left of center driven by 19 year old William M. Burges also of Culver.
Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and Burges was pinned in the vehicle until Plymouth Fire and EMS personnel were able to extricate him. Both drives were transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth where they were treated for minor injuries.
