Argos Woman Injuries Ankle in Crash

June 27, 2013

06/27/13 An Argos woman was injured in a two vehicle crash on Michigan Road north of Argos Tuesday evening about 5:15.

The crash occurred when a 2008 Jeep Post driven by 59 year old Freddie Bradley of Wararusa pulled across Michigan Road at 14th Road in the path of a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by 58 year old Lujeane Olejniczak of Argos who was south bound on Michigan Road.

Bradley told Officer Jordan Rans that he was west bound on 14th Road and stopped at the stop sign at Michigan Road.  After looking both ways and not seeing any oncoming traffic he proceeded through the intersection.  When he saw the oncoming vehicle it was too late to avoid the collision.  Bradley’s Jeep was t-boned and ended up next to the railroad tracks.

The extreme impact caused injury to Olejniczak’s ankle.  She was transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth for treatment.
