Miller’s Residents Donate to Pennies for Paws

February 20, 2012

02/21/22 Residents from Miller’s Assisted Living attended the Marshall County Humane Society Baked Potato and Salad Bar luncheon in Plymouth.  The annual event is always well-attended and a great place to eat a good meal and chat with friends you haven’t seen for awhile.  The residents and staff of Miller’s designate the first two weeks of February as Pennies for Paws.  They collect loose change during those two weeks and then donate the collection to the MCHS to use as they deem necessary for the shelter animals.  This year they collected $65.00 which will be enough to spay an animal and pay for the rabies shot.  The Society director Nancy Lunetta happily accepted the donation.
