Money Smart Week at Culver-Union Township Public Library

  04/22/13 Culver-Union Township Public Library will celebrate Money Smart Week at your Library during the week of April 20th – 27th. Money Smart Week at your Library is a public awareness campaign to promote financial literacy at all ages, made possible by a partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and the American Library Association.

On, Monday, April 22nd at 1:00 PM, the library will host a program, “Understanding Credit Reports & Preventing Fraud & Scams.” Guest speaker, Chad Van Herk, Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President of First Farmers Bank & Trust in Culver, will explain credit reports, as well as how to protect oneself from credit fraud and scams. We hope you can join us for this important, educational program. This free program is open to the public, and will be held in the large meeting room on the lower level of the library.
