The Marshall County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) announces that Nancy Tyree has joined the organization in the role of Communications and Marketing Manager. Nancy Tyree is no stranger to the community, both as a life-long resident of Marshall County, and having previously served as the Marketing and Social Media Intern at the Marshall County Community Foundation. Her accomplishments there included driving traffic to the redeveloped website and social media accounts.
Nancy joins MCEDC to develop and implement the organization’s Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations Plans, which will further MCEDC’s recent success in growing Marshall County’s economy. Jerry Chavez, MCEDC President and CEO states, “I am pleased to bring on Nancy as the Communications and Marketing Manager to our organization. Communications are an important aspect of a well-organized economic development program. I believe Nancy will transform this area for MCEDC.”
This appointment marks a new page for the MCEDC which is in the initial stages of implementing its new Communication Plan. The Plan will target internal markets, by keeping community stakeholders informed and up-to-date on the goings on at the organization, as well as external markets, by making them aware of all that Marshall County has to offer expanding businesses.
