07/03/13 Sarah Flynn, Marketing Director of the Fitness Forum at LifePlex is happy to announce their participation in a fundraiser for Courtney Demont. The Argos freshman was seriously injured in a roll-over vehicle crash on Kennilworth Road on April 18th. She has been in Memorial Hospital in South Bend since but has had a miraculous recovery. She is expected to be release from the hospital tomorrow but will continue with physical therapy several more months several times a week in South Bend.
A very special handmade Notre Dame Girls Basketball quilt with names and autographs of each of the 2013 players in individual squares will be raffled off with proceeds to Courtney Demont. The quilt is on display at the Fitness Forum at LifePlex.
The cost of the raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and can be purchased at the Fitness Forum at LifePlex, in the Mayor’s office or at the WTCA Studios. The drawing will be on July 13th at the concert in the park.
