06/07/13 On Thursday, June 6th at 1:49 AM a Marshall County Deputy initiated a traffic stop at US 31 and US 30 for an equipment violation non a vehicle. During the investigation the officer made the request for Marshall County’s K-9 Arras. Once on scene Arras indicated a positive hit for narcotic in the interior of the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle a substance believed to be marijuana was located along with paraphernalia. The driver 19 year old, Ofelia Cardona of Warsaw was taken into custody for operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license. She was booked into the Marshall County Jail with a bond of $505.
A passenger in the vehicle, 19 year old Justin McCurdy of Warsaw was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and held on a $1,505 cash bond.
A 17 year old male juvenile was also taken into custody. All subjects were transported to the Marshall County Jail.
