Jan’s Jump for Operation Quite Comfort

September 25, 2012

09/26/12 Operation Quiet Comfort is fundraising with a rather unusual event this Sunday.  Jan Houin will be tandem skydiving with Plymouth Sky Sports on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The long range weather forecast looks great for Jan’s Jump and citizens who want to donate to Operation Quiet Comfort can make Jan jump from a higher place with each dollar that is donated.  For each dollar Jan will move up I more foot from 8,000 feet to a maximum of 12,000 feet.  KENTEC Enterprises is paying for the jump so every dollar donated goes to Operation Quiet Comfort.  Checks made payable to Operation Quiet Comfort or OQC can be accepted at the Houin home at 17671 13th Road in Plymouth, at ASK for Flowers or here at the WTCA Radio Station.

Everyone is invited to join the fun at the Plymouth Municipal Airport. The party starts around 12:30 Sunday afternoon with approximate time of the jump set for 1:00 p.m. EST
OQC and the Houins are inviting everyone to Plymouth Sky Sports for the party! They will have snacks including party mix and “drop” cookies and of course things to do for Operation Quiet Comfort. While you are waiting for the plane to take Jan Houin higher, they will have cards and denim squares available so you can write messages to our troops – especially Holiday Cards!

It’s not too late to make a donation to Operation Quiet Comfort to send Jan higher and higher!!!  Make those donations today!
