03/23/12 Lisa Wallyn, the Lincoln Junior High’s instrumental music teacher was very pleased with the students results from last weekend Music Festival.
Several Lincoln Junior High School’s instrumental ensembles attended the Indiana State School Music Association Junior/Middle/Elementary School Festival in Knox, Indiana this past weekend. The 7th grade band, 8th grade band, and the string orchestra all received gold ratings. The 7th grade band and string orchestra performed in group three and the 8th grade band performed in group two which is a more difficult group. A total of 109 students performed. This marks the second year in a row that the Lincoln Junior High ensembles have received all gold ratings.
