Connie Holzwart Named Blueberry Festival Blueberry Parade Marshal

July 25, 2012

07/26/12 The 2012 Board of Directors for the Marshall County Blueberry Festival is proud to announce this year’s Grand Marshal for the Labor Day Parade, Connie Holzwart of Plymouth.  Connie who is the former Festival Coordinator, has embodied this year’s theme of “A World of Possibilities” by implementing two of the Festival’s most innovative elements, first, Blueberry Buddies and second, the Go Green Recycling Program.

Filled with marching bands, classic cars, horse units, tractors, baton twirlers, floats and more, the parade on Labor Day, Monday, September 3rd, will also feature the loveable Blueberry Hank. Reining over the parade which steps off at 9:30 a.m. will be the 2012 Miss Blueberry Queen, Bri Trappe.  The parade travels down Baker Street, to Michigan Street where it heads south into downtown Plymouth and then east onto Garro Street up to the Lincoln Junior High School.
