01/16/14 Head of Plymouth Park and Recreation, Scott Michel has released the 2014 Park Department monthly trips.
On January 27th the bus trip will be to the Horseshoe Casino. The February bus trip will be a tour of ABC 57 in South Bend and lunch at Hani Yori. On March 10 the park department will host a motor coach trip to the Four Winds Casino and on April 30th the bus trip will be a tour of the Ruthmere Mansion in Elkhart.
The summer season opens with the warmer weather as the park department will take a bus trip to Shipshewana to visit the flea market and downtown shops on May 20th. The June trip is to Fair Oaks Farm in Fair Oaks Indiana. This is the perfect trip for grandparents to take their grandchildren on. Folks can cool off in the Horseshoe Casino bus trip on July 16th.
The park department bus trips continue in August as the travel to Kokomo to tour the Opalescent Glass factory and in September it a Royal Excursion to the Tabor Hill Winery. Get some bargain shopping done at the Michigan City Lighthouse Place Premium Outlet mall on October 6.
The Park department wraps up the 2014 bus trips with another visit to the Four Winds Casino on November 17th and the Dutch Village Market in Nappannee.
Fees for the Park Department bus trips vary from a few dollars up to $35 & $27 dollars. You must sign up and pay at least two weeks in advance for all bus trips at the Park Office at 1660 North Michigan Street. You may call Scott Machel at 936-7255 for more details.
