06/28/12 America in Bloom of Plymouth is hosting its first bicycle cruise “Pedal for Petals” on Saturday, July 28, 2012. It is a 3 mile cruise through Plymouth’s scenic “Greenway Trail” beginning and ending at Founders Park on Polk Street behind the Coffee Lodge. Riders may begin anytime after 8 a.m. and have until 12:00pm to be off the trail.
Early registration is underway now being accepted until July 20th. Cost is $15 and includes a T-shirt for the first 50 registrants. After July 20th cost to register is $20 per rider. Registration forms for the bicycle cruise available at the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce and Marshall County Tourism.
Families are encouraged to participate in this cruise as well as take advantage of the bike trails that run through Marshall County. Proceeds benefit America in Bloom of Plymouth and its continuing effort to plant pride in our community while beautifying the city of Plymouth.
