04/29/14 Thursday night, April 24, the PHS choirs, Counterpoint, Chorale, and Crimson attended the Indiana State School Music Association’s Choir Contest.
In anticipation for this event, the students prepared three pieces of music for each group to perform. After this performance, the students are then led to another room where they are given a brand new piece of music that they have never seen and told to sing on the spot with no preparation. The choirs did a fantastic job!
PHS Chorale, a mixed group of guys and girls, received GOLD!
PHS Counterpoint, an all-girls group, received a SILVER, but they were only a half point from a gold and the PHS Crimson competed in one of the top divisions and received a GOLD!
