“Pride of Plymouth” Ends Season with a Gold

October 19, 2011

10/20/11 The Plymouth High School’s “Pride OF Plymouth” ended their 2011 Marching Season taking home a Gold at the Lafayette Regional last weekend.  While the top 10, out of a very competitive Class B field, go on to semi state, the community can be proud of another successful season.

This is the first year that Plymouth moved up to Class B competition after qualifying last year for state competition under Class C.

Bryan Ames, band director said, “The band gave an outstanding performance and earned the Gold Rating.  Unfortunately, we barely missed out on going on to Semi-State.” He continued by saying, “The kids gave it their all and had a great show.  We were extremely disappointed that we did not move on to the semi finals.”

The P.H.S. Music Boosters would like to thank area businesses for their continued support as they look for great things to come!
