04/25/12 The Plymouth High School FFA Chapter Parliamentary Procedure Team has once again successfully placed at district and advanced on to sectional contest! District contest was held at Warsaw High School on April 10 and had 5 teams compete. The top two teams advanced on to the sectional contest held at Argos High School on April 16. Six teams competed at the sectional contest.
Last year, for the first time in recent years, PHS FFA placed 2nd at district and advanced on to sectional contest where they placed 4th. This year the team in which was made up of nearly 50% new members, placed 3rd at sectionals. The top 2 teams at sectionals advance to state competition.
The team consists of Trent Pletcher, Tucker Pletcher, Makayla DePoy, Sarah Lindvall, Makayla Fox, Jessica Cleveland, Garrett Fox, Emily Denney, Julia Lipply and Megan Snyder.
The chapter looks forward to what the future may hold in regards to a parliamentary procedure team earning their way to compete at the state level one day soon!
