06/16/11 “PINK IN THE PARK,” an Ounce of Prevention event Comes to Centennial Park on Saturday, June 25th. Com and watch the “Taking a Bat to Fight Breast cancer” baseball double-header on Saturday, June 25th. Play starts at 9:30 a.m. on the Pony League Field behind the former Schoops Restaurant and finishes up with a cook-out!
Special thanks goes out to Chris Felke at Felke Florist for sponsoring beautiful “pink” t-shirts and thanks to Greg Briles and Jason Peters for having their Pony baseball teams come together for the games.
Jennifer Houin and Jessica Oliver also want to thank the Hoosier Bat Company for donating the “pink” baseball bats.
