P-Town Cruz’n Car Show this Saturday in Downtown

June 9, 2011

06/10/11 It’s that time again…this Saturday is the 2nd Annual P-Town Cruz’ n Car Show.

Three blocks of downtown Plymouth will once again be blocked off and be lined with vehicles of interest.  The downtown shops will be open and participating with the car show in a drawing for a 32 inch TV donated by Wal-Mart.

So get out and dust off your vintage cars, trucks, and motorcycles and the collectible vehicles that you are keeping under a cover.  There will be no trophies, just FUN.  There will be dash plaques for the first 100, also a cash 50/50 drawing and lots of door prizes.  Come put them on display for others to enjoy too.  It’s only $10 to register and all the proceeds go to the Marshall County Humane Society.

The Pizza Challenge is also back again this year.  This time six area pizza businesses will be participating including: Papa John’s, Pizza Hut, Mancino’s, Granny’s, Burno’s, and Opies.  The Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Boys and Girls Club will be helping with pizza sales.  Pizza will sell for $1 a slice and at the end of the day one pizza place will get the title of “Best Pizza in Plymouth.”

All of this fun starts at 10 a.m. with registration and the show is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
