Members of the Plymouth Chapter of Kiwanis group will be flipping pancakes and parking cars during this year’s Blueberry Festival to raise funds for local charities.

Starting on Saturday, September 4h and running through September 6th, you can visit their booth in the food court at Centennial Park for all you can eat blueberry pancakes from 8:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M.  In addition to all you can eat blueberry pancakes; you will also be served scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon and your choice of juice, coffee or milk.  The price for all of this is just $6.00.

If you looking for a close and convenient place to park, Kiwanians will be parking cars at the Edward Jones lot at 1435 N. Michigan. This is directly across from the main entrance of the park.  You can park all day for just $6.00.  All of the proceeds from Sunday’s parking fundraiser will be donated to Riley’s Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.

Proceeds from both fundraisers will benefit area youth programs and scholarships. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and once community at a time. The Plymouth Kiwanis meet each Tuesday at noon at Christo’s Banquet Center in Plymouth and interested new members are always welcome. For more information contact Tom Sibal at 935-8442.
