Thursday Arrests by Plymouth Police

5/31/11 Plymouth Police made an arrest at the Prairie View Group Home in Plymouth last week.

On Thursday May 26th just after 8:11a.m. Officer Jessie Pippenger of the Plymouth Police Department responded to Prairie View Group home located at 703 West Jefferson Street reference to a battery complaint. Joshua T. Hale 18, of Plymouth was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for battery causing bodily injury.   Hales bond was set at $750.00 cash and he is scheduled to appearance in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on June 21st.

On Thursday, May 26th at approximately 4:30 p.m. Officer Paul Shively responded to Wal-Mart on Oak Drive. Wal-Mart’s Asset Protection employees had Elizabeth N. Oviedo 18, of Plymouth in custody for shoplifting. After an investigation, Oviedo was taken to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked in for theft, a Class D Felony. Oviedo’s bond was set at $1000.00 cash. A court appearance is scheduled for Marshall County Superior Court #1 on June 7th.

Again on Thursday, May 26th at approximately 5:45 p.m. Officer Shively again responded to Wal-Mart to find that Dorothy M. Alderman 57, of Nappanee had also been shoplifting. Alderman was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was also booked in for theft, a Class D Felony. Alderman is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #1 on June 21st.
