04/09/13 On Friday, April 5th at approximately 4 P.M. Plymouth Police Officer Shanna Gilmer responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a male shoplifter. 26 year old, Michael E. Ruiz of Kingsford Heights was arrested for theft and transported to the Marshall County Jail. He was booked in on a $3,005 cash bond.
At 5:19 P.M. Officer Bridget Hite conducted a traffic stop at Water and Garro Streets on 27 year old, Jose Cazares of Plymouth. During the investigation it was found that Mr. Cazares was operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license. Cazares was taken into custody and booked in to the County Jail on a $255 cash bond. He was later released at 6:25 P.M. after posting his cash bond.
A short time later Friday evening at 5:58 Officer Joe Deisch responded to the 800 block of Baker Street in reference to an intoxicated person causing a disturbance. Officer Deisch located 42 year old, Melina Sallee of Kingsford Heights was determined to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody and transported to the jail where she was booked in on a $505 cash bond. Sallee was released the next day after posting her cash bond.
