Graham C. Polando Appointed Deputy Prosecutor

  09/28/12 Marshall County Prosecuting Attorney, David R. Holmes, announced the appointment of Graham Polando, as Deputy Prosecuting Attorney.   Holmes stated that with the addition of Graham the office would now have a deputy for each court which would help keep the caseload moving.  He advised he appreciated the support of the Marshall County Council and Commissioners in approving the position.

Polando served as a trial deputy in Elkhart County for five years.  Holmes said he felt fortunate to add a deputy with that experience who would immediately begin handling felony cases in Superior Court No. I.   The new deputy is a graduate of Hillsdale College and Boston University with a Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University.  He also currently serves as an Instructor at Manchester University in North Manchester, Indiana.  Polando stated that he has been overwhelmed by the warm welcome he has received from the Bench and Bar, and looks forward to serving the people of Marshall County.

Polando and his wife, Rachel, reside in Warsaw, Indiana.  His wife is a Professor of Biology at Manchester University
