July Activity Report for Plymouth Fire and EMS

Plymouth Fire Chief Andy Metsker presented his July Activity Report to the Board of Public Works and Safety Monday evening.

There were 183 EMS and Fire alarms during the month of July.  There were 137 EMS calls, 22 medical assists, 7 dispatched and cancelled en route, 3 natural vegetation fires, 2 each: chemical release/reaction or toxic, combustible/flammable spills or leaks, electrical wiring, false alarms, and rescue calls.

Plymouth first responders went to 1 vehicle fire, 1 public service assistance request, 1 EMS standby dispatch, and 1 structure fire.    

In looking at the incidents by district 123 calls were in Plymouth, 26 in West Township, 17 in Center Township, 6 paramedic assists in Culver, 5 paramedic assists in Lakeville/LaPaz, 3 in LaPaz, 2 fire assists  in Argos, and 1 paramedic assist in Argos.
