Holiday Happenings at Miller’s Senior Living

12/27/10 It has been a busy, busy month at Miller’s Senior Living Community.  Residents have been blessed to have many visitors and a large number of performances by local singers, dancers and musicians.

Entertaining at Miller’s this year have been the Plymouth Youth Orchestra, students from the Riverside intermediate School Choir, The Marshall County Church Orchestra, Senter Stage Dance Studio, and many carolers from churches and organizations in Marshall County.  The residents and staff wish to express their thanks to all who thought of them this holiday season and helped make their Christmas extra special.

The annual Resident/Staff Red and Green Party took place Thursday, Dec. 23.  Secret Santa gifts were exchanged.  Desserts made by staff were shared and judging took place for the wearing of red and green apparel.  Special judges for the events were:  Mayor Mark Senter, Kathy Bottorff from WTCA Radio, Miller’s Administrator Stephanie Smucker, and volunteer, Juanita Stapan.

Resident winners were: Most red, Cleta Walker; Combination of red and green, Helen Overmyer; and Most green Edythe Wilson.  Staff winners were:  Most red, Lana Alexander; Combination of red and green, Angie Rice and Most green, Deb Scarborough.
