Salvation Army Needs Red Kettle Bell Ringing

December 19, 2013

12/20/13 Salvation Army Red Kettle Bell Ringing is well underway.  Members from the Marshall County Boys and Girls Club helped get the campaign started by volunteering to be the first to ring bells.  Funds collected in Bremen, Culver and Plymouth, remain in our communities to help families who struggle financially.  The Marshall County Salvation Army Service Extension, a United Way Agency, is thankful that Wal-Mart, Kroger, and K-mart support their efforts to raise these much needed funds.   Giving has been good in our county and this final week before Christmas is critical to raising funds to last through 2014.

To be a volunteer ringer, contact Pastor Jim Irwin at 574-952-8712.  Two hour shifts are preferable and we can accommodate anybodies schedule at one of the stores letting us ring.

Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 221 in Plymouth or dropped off at the Neighborhood Center where we share an office with Care and, or the Salvation Army Thrift Store will be glad to see that we receive the donations locally.
