Milton Arrested in Bremen

Bremen_Police07/24/14 On Sunday, July 20th at approximately 8:10 P.M. the Bremen Police Department was called to 200 block of West Plymouth Street for a domestic fight that had occurred. As officers arrived and conducted an investigation it was determined that 43 year old Richard Milton of Nappanee had battered his ex-girlfriend and her 19 year old daughter at a Bremen location. On Monday, July 21st Mr. Milton was located at 10:06 A.M. and was taken into custody for battery, invasion of privacy, residential entry, theft and intimidation. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,505 bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
