City Police Officers Make Arrests

On Monday, June 21st at 3:30 PM Officer Derek Workman with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop at Jefferson Street and Oak Drive.  The driver was 19 year old Ashley N. Ensey of Jackson Heights Road.   After further investigation Ensey was arrested for operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license.  She was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a $250 bond.  Ensey was released the same day at 5:15 PM after posting cash bond.

At 3:30 PM Monday Officer Bridget Hite made contact with 39 year old Robert L. Graham of 4th Street who was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Saint Joseph County.  The warrant was for conversion.  Graham was transported to the County Jail and booked without bond.

Later that night at 8:34 PM Officer Workman conducted a traffic stop at Harrison and Walnut Streets.  The driver, 27 year old William A. Hemig of South Bend was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license.  Hemig was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a $750 bond.

At 10:42 PM Monday Officer Workman conducted a traffic stop at 5th and Adams Streets.  The driver, 36 year old Kenneth A. Mattern of Adams Street was found to be intoxicated.   Mr. Mattern then fled on foot and was later taken into custody and transported to the Jail where he was booked on a $2,000 bond.

On Tuesday, June 22nd at 4:00 PM Officer Workman arrested 18 year old Ira Burroughs of Jefferson Street for a warrant out of Marshall County.  Burroughs was transported to the Jail and booked without bond.

Later Tuesday, at 8:40 PM Officer Workman conducted a traffic stop at Michigan and Center Streets on 27 year old Manuel F. Arcos- Serna of Argos.  He was arrested for operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license and was transported to the Marshall County Jail.  He was booked on a $250 bond and later released at 10:50 PM after posting his cash bond.
