New Airport Manager Announced

Mayor Mark Senter, along with the Plymouth Board of Aviation Commissioners announced the resignation of Airport Manager Ron Ritter Friday morning.  Ron has been the full-time airport manager since November of 2001.  Mayor Senter said, “I truly appreciate Ron’s passion for the Plymouth airport.  He has served the aviation community and the City of Plymouth with a spirit of enthusiasm beyond reproach.”  Mr. Ritter’s resignation takes effect on June 30th.


Mayor Senter announced that on July 1st David Lattimer will take over as the airport manager.  Dave is a graduate of Plymouth High School and attained his pilot’s license in 1969.  He served the Indiana State Police for 26 years before retiring in 1992.  While a trooper, Dave worked the road in Marshall County, was an ISP SCUBA diver and was a helicopter pilot for 4 years based out of Valparaiso.  After retirement Dave was a private investigator for several years.  He currently drives a school bus for Plymouth Community School Corporation and is a member of the Mentone Flying Club, the FOP and is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) caseworker for children. He and wife Wanda live north of Argos.
