06/29/12 Sally & Friends arrived at Miller’s Senior Living Community on Tuesday, June 26th wearing their red, white and blue. They were prepared to play patriotic music while the audience sang along from the song sheets Ed Hasnerl passed out. They began with patriotic favorites such as “My Country ‘Tis of Thee”, “This Is My Country”, and “God Bless America”. Following the patriotic music they went into some favorite hymns and fun Broadway and movie hits.
They ended as they always do with a beautiful rendition of “The Lord’s Prayer”. Sally & Friends minister the last Tuesday of each month at 2:30 p.m. at Miller’s Senior Living Community. Their concerts are free and open to the public.
