Thursday Arrests by Plymouth Police

  06/28/12 On Thursday, June 21st around 1:27pm, Officer Shanna Gilmer of the Plymouth Police Department responded to Martin’s Supermarket on Jefferson Street after receiving a call that a female subject later identified as Sarah B. Hopkins 35, of Grovertown was shoplifting.  After an investigation it was found that Hopkins was also in possession of a controlled substance.  She was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for Theft, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Sarah Hopkins’ bond was set at $3000.00 cash.  She was released on her own recognizance on June 21st at 3:25pm.  Hopkins is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on July 31st at 8:30am.

On Thursday, June 21st around 5:32pm, Plymouth Officer Gary Cleveland responded to Wal-Mart located on North Oak Drive after receiving a call from their loss prevention department stating that they had a female subject that was found to be shoplifting.  Officer Cleveland detained Trisha Mattke 19, of Plymouth for Theft and Possession of Marijuana and transported her to the Marshall County Jail where she was given a $1500.00 cash bond.

During the time of the arrest of Trisha Mattke, her boyfriend, Harley Howell 18, of Bourbon, who works at Wal-Mart became disruptive with his expressions of discontent concerning Trisha’s arrest in front of Wal-Mart customers.  He was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the County Jail.  His bond was set at $500.00 cash.  Harley Howell is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on July 3rd at 8:30am.
