Hot Dogs, Pie, Races and Cars at this Month’s Second Friday

  09/13/13 This Friday, September 13th is 2nd Friday in downtown Plymouth from 5-8 p.m. on Garro Street between Michigan and Center Street.

All of Plymouth’s dealerships will bring up to 6 vehicles on display for folks to see and sit in. 2nd Friday will have numerous activities including a Pie Eating Contest, a Big Wheel Race, a Razor Scooter Race, a Dunk Tank with special appearances from our PHS Basketball Team and more!

All participants wanting to participate in the Big Wheel Race or the Razor Scooter Races are asked to bring their own.  Big Wheel races are for kids ages 3-7 while the Razor Scooter races will be for kids ages 8 to 11.  1st place winners will win a $25 gift card and a ribbon, 2nd and 3rd places will win a ribbon as well.
There will be fresh Kettle Corn by Baileys Sweet Kettle Corn and fresh homemade pies by Becca for sale.  Hot Dogs, Chips, Soda Pop and bottled water will be sold as a fundraiser for the Plymouth Fusion Softball Team.

During second Friday music will be provided by Dave Hamann.  Come down and see new vehicles from Oliver Ford Lincoln, Country Chevrolet, and Tim Martin Buick GMC.  The Auto Park will have some great used vehicles on display too.

 Old Fashion Sidewalk Sale Days will be taking in downtown Plymouth and many of the downtown merchants will have merchandise on the sidewalk for sale. Bruce’s Big Grill will be selling BBQ pulled pork sandwiches with baked beans and coleslaw for $8 as a fundraiser for the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce. Bruce’s Bill grill will be out front of Treat’s Squire Shop located at 308 North Michigan Street from 11 to 7.  Tickets are $8.
