04/23/13 On Friday, April 12th the Chamber of Commerce 2nd Friday event was a scavenger hunt through the downtown area. In spite of the dreary weather twenty-one people participated in trying to find hidden items throughout the stores. Shoppers also enjoyed retail specials, a greeting card workshop and an artist reception at Heartland Artists.
Participants then returned their information sheets back to the Chamber for a drawing to win chamber bucks. Lucky winners of the 2nd Friday scavenger hunt were (pictured) MaryAnn Back $100, Glen Drury $50, and Ashley Liggins $25.
“It turned out to be a fun family event and we will be having one again next year,” stated Betty Glaub Gibbs of the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce. 2nd Fridays are put on by the Public Relation and Tourism Committee of the Plymouth Chamber.
