Langley Arrested for Failure to Register

On June 2, 2010 information was received that a Registered Sex Offender, Christopher Langley was no longer living at his last registered address in Plymouth. An investigation by Detective/Lt. Ward Byers of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that Langley had moved from his last registered address in Plymouth and had failed to notify the Sheriff’s Office of his current whereabouts.


On Sunday, June 13 Langley was located in Rochester and arrested by Rochester Police for Failure of a Sex Offender to possess a valid Identification card.


Christopher Langley has since been transferred to the Marshall County Jail on a charge of Failure to Register as a Sex or Violent Offender a Class C Felony.


Langley was convicted in January for Failure to Register as a Sex or Violent Offender and as a result has been charged with the Class C Felony.


Langley is required to register as a result of a 2003 child molesting conviction in Marshall County.


He is currently being held in the Marshall County Jail on a bond of $20,000 surety/$4,000.00 cash.
