14 Year Old Crown Point Girl Injured in Snowmobile Accident

01/18/12 Indiana Conservation Officers investigated a snowmobile accident Friday afternoon January 13th  after a 14 year old girl struck a tree in her yard.

The Crown Point resident was operating a snowmobile in her back yard, without a helmet, when she struck a tree and then collided with a wooden fence.

She was airlifted to the University of Chicago from St. Anthony’s Medical Center with multiple head injuries and as of this morning is expected a full recovery.
