Get Them Fixed for $10 through August 31st

July 6, 2013

07/08/13 Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana (SNSI) announced a $10 program to help pet owners and caretakers with limited incomes and receiving public assistance an opportunity to get their pets spayed and neutered at half the normal rate.

According to SNSI Board President Cheri Storms, “SNSI is dedicated to doing everything we can to eliminate the killing of healthy and treatable cats and dogs. This limited-time reduction of the normal fee to just $10 through our Spay Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) will help us to further our mission by helping even more pet owners.”

“Through our partnership with 83 vets and clinics throughout the state, we have fixed more than 70,000 animals,” Storms continued. “Animal shelters work tirelessly to find homes for as many pets as possible, but the real solution must include helping those who can least afford to have their pets spayed and neutered.” Locally, Parrett Veterinary Clinic in Plymouth participates in this program.

The $10 surgeries are available to qualifying pet owners July 1 – August 31, 2013, and are made possible by proceeds from the Pet Friendly license plate. Additional information and a list of participating vets are available at www.GetThemFixed.org or by calling 317-767-7771.
