10/15/10 The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will close State Road 10 (S.R. 10) between State Road 23 (S.R. 23) and State Road 17 (S.R. 17) on Monday, October 18. The one-day closure will allow crews to replace a pipe under the roadway, just east of County Road 1000 East.
Local traffic will have access on either side of the closure, but through traffic will be directed on a marked, 11-mile detour. Westbound traffic will be directed north on S.R. 17, west on State Road 8 (S.R. 8) and south on S.R. 23, back to S.R. 10. Eastbound traffic will be detoured north on S.R. 23, east on S.R. 8 and south on S.R. 17, back to S.R. 10.
The work schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather.
