Storm Damage in Plymouth

May 21, 2014

Last night’s storms did some damage in Plymouth.  Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt said there were several tree branches down around the city but nothing too extensive.

Traveling around the city Wednesday morning WTCA saw a couple smaller ornamental trees that had blown over.

At 2125 Western Avenue, the JAFCO Inc. building, formerly known as Menser Industries and now owned by Jerry Menser had a large portion of the roof blown off.

On East LaPorte Street a large branch fell out of a tree blocking the entire roadway.  Crews were dispatched and within a short time the street was reopened.

On Baker Street a tree fell on a house.

There were also some sporadic power outages.  No injuries were reported.
