Pancake Breakfast & Strawberry Shortcake Tasting at Plymouth Farmers’ Market

   06/15/12 Kick off Father’s Day weekend at the Plymouth Farmers’ Market. This Saturday’s market will feature entertainment by the Marshall County Church Orchestra beginning at 9. Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center will offer a free health screening from 8 to 11.

Strawberry shortcake tasting with strawberries grown by Janice Hurford of Sunny Acres and shortbread compliments of Sr. Sue of Earthworks will be offered free of charge at the information booth. The Plymouth Optimist Club will also be on hand serving a Pancake Breakfast from 7 to 11. Tickets are available from any Optimist Club member or at the market for $6 each.

The Plymouth Farmers’ Market is held Saturdays from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in River Park Square at Garro and River Streets, east of Michigan. The last day for the Market is Oct. 13, the second Saturday of the month.

Booth space for vendors remains at $10 per week per booth. Not-for-profit booths are free but limited to once a month.
