Burglary at Symphony Restaurant

11/19/13 On Friday, November 15th at 12:26 a.m. the Plymouth Police Department received a report of a burglary in progress at the Symphony Restaurant located at 1410 North Michigan Street in Plymouth.

  The manager of the restaurant had surprised a burglar when he entered the restaurant at approximately 12:25 a.m.  The manager stated that the burglar had fled on foot from the scene. 

  Further investigation by Detective Leo Mangus indicated that the subject had entered the building through the roof and had gained access into the attic at approximately 12:15 a.m.  Video footage of the interior of the restaurant showed a male with a white cloth, possibly a t-shirt covering his face.  He was wearing a green jacket and was approximately 5’7″ to 5’9 feet tall with very short hair.  The suspect forced the office door open and had collected the money in the office.

The money was not taken because the manager had surprised the suspect and he had left quickly.
