Taste of Culver this Saturday

June 10, 2014

The Culver Chamber of Commerce is proud to sponsor this Saturday’s 2014 Taste of Culver.  Activities take place from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. downtown on Jefferson Street and in Heritage Park where visitors will find shade and tables and chairs.

Jefferson Street will be closed to traffic so food booths can line the street and visitors can wander without having to worry about traffic.

A variety of food will be available including sushi, Cajun specialties, mini burgers, pizza, hot dogs, fresh fruit, shaved ice and more.  Food items are from the menus of the various restaurants in Culver.

Participants can enjoy the music of Ken Arnsbarger’s steel drums, walk along the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee and take some time to visit the unique shops in Culver.

Also taking place in Culver this Saturday is the grand opening of the new Culver and Lake Maxinkuckee Visitor’s Center at 102 West Jefferson Street.   The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 1 p.m.
